Securities and Bequests

A gift of appreciated securities will not only benefit the Sorensen Center for International Peace and Justice, but may result in significant tax benefits to you as well. You may also choose to make a gift to the Sorensen Center through your will or living trust. Should you decide to remember the Sorensen Center this way, please let us know, so that we may recognize your generosity. Matching Gifts

Many corporations have matching gift programs that will match employee gifts. Ask your human resources department about programs your company may offer for matching your charitable donations. Please designate that the gift is intended for Sorensen Center for International Peace and Justice.

Donors will be acknowledged in a number of ways:

  • Founders' Circle ($500,000) contributors and higher will be listed on prominent signage; a press release, if desired, will be sent to law journal and philanthropy publications
  • All contributors to the Sorensen Center will be listed in alphabetical order, according to giving categories, on materials
